Sylvain is a partner of ADR Education. In January 2022, he began his collaboration with the company as a partner. Sylvain spent 26 years in federal departments, 20 years with the Correctional Service of Canada and 6 years with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, where he held the position of National Program Manager, Informal Conflict Management System. Sylvain also has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector. His skills and experience in various key roles such as union representative, manager, a negotiator and mediator sparked his interest in informal conflict resolution. Since then, his motivation has never stopped growing.

Over the past 10 years, Sylvain has participated in various training courses always related to conflict management, such as mediation, coaching, facilitation, neutral third party and conducting investigations.  Sylvain was President of the Réseau francophone des praticiens en résolution de conflits, a pan-Canadian group of 90 active conflict resolution professionals in federal government organizations. He was an active member of the Informal Federal Conflict Resolution Committee. To date, Sylvain has accumulated more than 1200 interventions in the field. He has worked with various levels of the public sector, institutions and private companies. This is complemented by workplace surveys and assessments. He specializes in coaching, training, mediation, team dialogue facilitation and restorative processes. Through his personality, Sylvain promotes a human and collaborative approach.
