Meet the Team

Nadja Rence

Associate

Nadja is a lawyer and workplace investigator with extensive experience in investigations involving bullying, harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, and workplace culture.

Prior to practicing as an investigator, Nadja was a litigator in family and child protection law for approximately 12 years.  In that role, she used many of the same skills she employs as a

workplace investigator, namely questioning witnesses, gathering and summarizing large volumes of information, and researching and applying caselaw in her analyses.

Since 2019, Nadja has conducted over 50 independent workplace investigations across a wide range of sectors, including governmental and non-governmental organizations, and in

both unionized and non-unionized environments. Nadja has investigated matters relating to allegations of harassment, violence, sexual harassment, serious sexual misconduct, prohibited grounds, cyberbullying, breach of confidentiality, and other general workplace misconduct. She has investigated the conduct of a range of employees, from lower-level personnel to senior managers.

Many of her investigations have been complex, involving multiple parties and incidents occurring over several years.

Since 2025, Nadja has been a member of the Government of Canada’s Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations Registry of Investigators.
